Killer Kebab - Vesterbro // Vesterbro's best kebab?
Vesterbro has no shortage of kebab shops, but if you ask around for the best kebab in Vesterbro, many locals and critics alike will send you down a side street off Istedgade - to Viktoriagade, where Killer Kebab first began.
This is the OG shop, ie. where it all started in 2020, when two friends taught themselves to make a kebab that would end up winning media recognition as the best in Copenhagen. What started as an experiment has since grown into a local favourite and 7 store chain, full of regulars and international visitors alike.
Located just around the corner from Istedgade, Kødbyen and Copenhagen Central Station, the Vesterbro shop is still true to its beginnings: freshly baked sourdough flatbreads, homemade lamb shawarma and falafels fried to order.
Some guests drop by on their way to a night out in Kødbyen, others swing past on the way to the station for a quick roll - either way, the idea remains the same: less choice, more quality!
